Compare / Shopfront boards
Glow sign board, ACP board or flex?
Three common ways to put a name on a shopfront, all made at AD JEET's Siliguri workshop. A glow sign board lights its whole face from inside a box. An ACP board carries separate 3D letters lit from inside or behind. A flex board is a printed sheet, usually unlit, and the quickest of the three to make.
| Board | How it is lit | What it is made of | Often chosen for | Planning lead time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Glow sign board | LEDs inside a box light the whole face | A printed flex, acrylic or ACP face on a metal frame | Shops, clinics and offices, often a single shopfront | 5–7 working days |
| ACP board with 3D LED letters | LEDs inside the letters, or behind them for a halo | An aluminium composite panel with acrylic or metal 3D letters | Showrooms, dealerships, banks and brand outlets | 7–10 working days |
| Flex board or banner | Usually unlit, or lit from the front | Printed PVC flex, finished with eyelets, hemming or a frame | Short-term or low-budget signs, banners and hoardings | 1–3 working days |
Lead times are planning estimates, counted once the artwork and size are approved. Each board is quoted by area in square feet, then adjusted for the material, lighting, artwork, quantity and installation access.
The making / From brief to site
From place to presence.
Materials, print and finish meet at the bench before a sign reaches its site.

Start with the site
A photo, a location, a rough size or a brand brief gives the project a place to begin.
Plan the face
We work through materials, scale and visibility before the workshop starts making.
Make it
Fabrication, print, finish and illumination meet in the same working process.
Put it up
The project comes out to the site and gets fitted where people will see it.
What are we putting
your name on?
A photo. A place. An idea.
Send what you have. We'll take it from there.
